Martyn Thompson currently serves as the Executive General Manager of Corporate Development at Steadfast Group Limited since June 2018. Prior to this role, Martyn Thompson held various positions at Willis Towers Watson Australia from March 1988 to December 2017, including Regional Industry Leader for Natural Resources in Australasia and National Client Service Director. Martyn Thompson's educational background includes studies at the University of Technology Sydney from 1999 to 2000, as well as a Senior Associate designation from ANZIIF obtained between 1990 and 1995. Additionally, Martyn Thompson became a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2020 and continues to engage in professional development.
