John Schmidt is an accomplished financial executive with a diverse background in healthcare and corporate finance. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital since May 2023, John previously held the position of Assistant CFO at Quorum Health from July 2019 to April 2023, where John also served as interim CFO at Red Bud Regional Hospital and Crossroads Medical Center. Prior to Quorum Health, John was the Financial Controller for Pepsi MidAmerica Co, managing a team of accountants and ensuring accurate financial reporting for several corporations. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer at Community Health and Emergency Services, Inc., overseeing various financial operations within the healthcare sector, and working as a Senior Accountant at Kemper CPA Group LLP.
