Carmelita A. has a diverse work experience starting from 2016. Carmelita worked as a Peer Mentor and Student Ambassador at Loughborough University, where they provided support and guidance to new students. In 2020, they worked as an Administrative Officer at the Ministry of Justice UK, where they handled court clerking duties and prepared papers for hearings. Following that, from 2021 to 2022, they served as a Work Coach and Prison Work Coach at the Department for Work and Pensions and conducted employer engagement activities within prisons. In 2022, they worked as an Employment Advisor at Fedcap, where they managed a caseload of participants and developed relationships with key stakeholders. In 2023, they worked as an Asylum Decision Maker at the UK Home Office and supported the decision-making process for asylum cases. Currently, they are working as a Customer Success Executive at StaySafe®, where they implement the StaySafe solution with new customers and provides ongoing support and training to ensure customer success.

Carmelita A. obtained their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Loughborough University, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology at Coventry University from 2018 to 2020.
