Carlos Fernández Sánchez has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Carlos started their career as a Marketing and Communication intern at NH Hotel Group in 2012. Carlos then worked as an International Expansion Project Manager at llaollao™ from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they joined APEX Canada as a Sales & Marketing Representative. From 2016 to 2017, Carlos worked in Project Management at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in China.
In 2017, Carlos joined trivago, where they initially worked as a Performance Analyst, acquiring new hotel partners in Spanish and LATAM markets. Carlos later transitioned to the role of Account Management Chains&OTAs, responsible for managing hotel partners. During their time at trivago, they acquired 250 independent hotel partners across Spanish and LATAM markets.
In 2020, Carlos joined Smyrooms, part of Logitravel Group, as a Technical Account Manager for a brief period of time. Carlos then moved to Roiback, where they worked in Metasearch Marketing from April 2020 to December 2022.
Currently, Carlos is employed at Stayforlong, where they work in Metasearch & Performance Marketing starting from December 2022.
Carlos Fernández Sánchez pursued their education in the field of Marketing. From 2008 to 2013, they attended the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing with a focus on general marketing management. During the same period, from 2009 to 2013, they also studied at ESIC Business & Marketing School, where they completed a program in Commercial Management, specializing in marketing.
