Michelle Dickson has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in different companies.
Michelle began their career as a Technical Incident Manager at Sedgwick in February 2004, where they provided coaching and mentoring to colleagues and acted as a referral point for technical queries.
Michelle later moved up within Sedgwick and held positions such as Team Leader, Service Centre Manager, and Training and Recruitment Manager. In these roles, they managed teams, delivered training and coaching, and ensured the delivery of excellent customer service. Michelle also conducted recruitment and training, identified training needs, and adhered to legislation.
After their time at Sedgwick, Michelle joined Stay Nimble in June 2020 as a Career Coach, where they helped clients with their career development. Michelle then worked at Skills Development Scotland as a Careers Advisor (Placement) from November 2019 to March 2020, providing supervised career guidance interviews to school and post-school clients.
Most recently, they returned to Skills Development Scotland in April 2021 as a Careers Advisor, where they continue to provide career guidance to clients.
Michelle Dickson earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree from the University of Glasgow between 1996 and 1999. Michelle later pursued further education at the University of the West of Scotland from 2019 to 2020, where they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Career Guidance and Development.
