George Takagi currently serves as CSAO at STATS Group since October 2023. With a long-standing career at Mitsui & Co., Ltd. beginning in April 1994, George has held various positions including Manager, overseeing the general trade of steel products for the Energy Industry, and Director at Mitsui & Co. (USA), Inc., where responsibilities included sales and corporate planning related to energy steel products. Previous roles include Deputy General Manager and COO at Regency Steel Japan from October 2020 to April 2023, focusing on the manufacturing of jack-up legs and offshore wind farm foundations, as well as Manager at Champions Pipe & Supply, Inc., handling sales of oil and gas steel products. George holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from International Christian University, earned between 1990 and 1994.
