Sebastian Witowski has a strong background in software development and has held various roles throughout their career. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer at CERN, where they contributed to the development of the CERN Document Server and CERN Videos website. From 2019 to 2020, Sebastian served as a Senior Python Developer at MUFG Investor Services FinTech, where they played a vital role in developing an event-driven backend using Django and Django REST framework. Sebastian also successfully migrated the database structure and implemented an automatic file ingestion and processing pipeline using Celery. In 2020, they created and published the "Modern Python Projects" course for Talk Python Training. Currently, Sebastian is working as a Lead Developer at Statkraft, where they are responsible for the FUSION project, a risk management platform for Norway's largest energy producer. Sebastian has designed and implemented a new data model, improving the speed of adding new instruments and reducing code complexity significantly.

Sebastian Witowski has a strong educational background in the field of Automation and Robotics. Sebastian first attended AGH University of Krakow, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Automation and Robotics from 2007 to 2011. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at the same university and earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Automation and Robotic (with a specialization in Computer Science in Control and Management) from 2011 to 2013.

In addition to their academic achievements, Sebastian Witowski also expanded their knowledge and skills by participating in a Master project at Grenoble Institute of Technology in 2012. This project allowed him to gain valuable experience in the field of Computer Science.

To further enhance their professional qualifications, Sebastian successfully obtained the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2019. This certification demonstrates their proficiency in project management and highlights their commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
