Leandro Muñoz-Giraldo (M.Sc.) has a work experience spanning from 2014 to present. Leandro currently holds the position of Senior Data Scientist SMI at Statista, where they are responsible for designing and developing automatic applications for information processing, building Python-based solutions, debugging applications, identifying automation potential, leading technical projects, and preparing training materials. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Analyst PMO at Tigo Colombia, where they improved and implemented relational schemes for managing customer databases. Leandro also worked as a Data Analyst R&D at IDINNOV SAS, where they identified clients' needs, designed and optimized data sources for analytics projects. Leandro has also worked as a Freelance Statistical Analyst, where they provided advice on mathematical modeling and conducted statistical analysis for enhancing a land logistics service.

Leandro Muñoz-Giraldo attended Stiftung Universität Hildesheim from 2017 to 2019, where they earned a Master's degree in Data Analytics (M.Sc.) in Germany. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (B.Eng.) at Universidad de Antioquia from 2009 to 2013 in Colombia. In addition to their formal education, Leandro Muñoz-Giraldo also obtained the certification of TOEFL IBT TEST: C2 in March 2017 from The TOEFL® test.
