Ian Thompson is an experienced professional in policy management and research, currently serving as a Senior Issue Manager for Energy and Environment at Stateside Associates since January 2023. Prior to this role, Ian held positions including Legislative Issue Manager and Student Researcher at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, focusing on human rights abuses in The Gambia. Additionally, Ian worked as a TRACK-STAR Liaison at the Delegation of the European Union to the United States, facilitating Trans-Atlantic dialogue on the digital economy. Ian's earlier experience includes roles as a Field Representative for the Progressive Turnout Project and Extended-Day Counselor at Martin County School District. Ian holds a Master of Arts in Political Science and Government from James Madison University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of North Florida.
