Alison Matous is an experienced occupational therapist with a diverse background in providing therapy services to various patient populations. Since February 2012, Alison has worked at Therapy Pros, LLP, specializing in treating preschool and school-aged children, focusing on improving upper body strength, sensory processing, and skills related to Autism Spectrum Disorder. Concurrently, since August 2011, Alison serves as a Senior Occupational Therapist at Staten Island University Hospital, assisting patients in achieving independence and returning to functional activities. Previous experience includes roles as a Level II OT student at Central Nassau Guidance and Counseling Services, Connecticut Children's Medical Center, and National Rehabilitation Hospital, as well as membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association from 2008 to 2011. Alison holds a combined BS/MS degree in Occupational Therapy from Stony Brook University, completed in 2011.
