Kamilah Briscoe is an experienced educational administrator currently serving as the Middle School Director at Staten Island Academy since July 2018, having previously held a position as Dean at the same institution. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of High School and College Programs at DREAM from October 2017 to April 2022, and various leadership roles at the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership and the Colin L. Powell Center for Leadership and Service. Kamilah's career began at New York University as Assistant Director of The Steinhardt Institute, followed by a role as Associate Director of The Jeannette K. Watson Fellowship. Kamilah holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Princeton University and a Master’s degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
