Kathleen Slocum is an experienced library professional currently serving as the Accessible Library Services Manager at the South Dakota State Library since July 2023. With a strong background in library management, Kathleen has been a Senior Librarian and Continuing Education Coordinator for the State Library since January 2010, contributing to policy-making, collection development, and educational programming. Previous roles include Project Coordinator at the SD Discovery Center, where responsibilities included grant writing and training for librarians, and a Para-Professional position in the Pierre School District, focusing on special education.
