Brandon Elefante is a seasoned public servant currently serving as a State Senator for the State of Hawaii since November 2022. Prior to this role, Brandon held various leadership positions, including Chair of the Large Cities Council and Board Member with the National League of Cities, where collaboration with the Hawai’i delegation in Congress was a key responsibility. Brandon's experience also includes serving on the Honolulu City Council and as a Legislative Aide, where advisory roles on zoning and public works legislation and community engagement were critical. Earlier career roles encompassed legislative assistance in the Hawaii State Senate, coaching and teaching at Damien Memorial School, and research and administrative functions during graduate studies at Chaminade University. Brandon holds an M.B.A. in Public Sector from Chaminade University of Honolulu and a B.S. in Economics and Business Administration from Saint Mary’s College of California.
