Joshua Maldonado has a diverse professional background in legal and regulatory roles within the state of Florida. Currently serving as an Editor in the Office of General Counsel at The Florida Office of Financial Regulation since August 2022, Joshua previously worked as an Operations Associate in the same office. Prior experience includes a position as a Staff Assistant specializing in Construction Litigation at the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Joshua has also gained valuable legal experience as a Legal Intern at Marie A. Mattox, P.A., where responsibilities included legal research and document preparation. In addition to legal and regulatory positions, involvement in various organizations at Florida State University, including leadership roles in community service and academic retention initiatives, complements a strong educational foundation comprising a Master’s degree in Applied American Politics and Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
