Mayor Dontario Hardy is currently the President of NCBEMO and the Chairman of the Small Cities Council at the National League of Cities. Mayor Dontario serves as a Board of Commissioner at the Governor's Crime Commission and as the Chairman of the NC Mayors Association at the NC League of Municipalities. Additionally, Mayor Dontario is actively involved in various advisory committees related to public safety, finance, and legislative action. Mayor Hardy is also the 54th Mayor of KINSTON, NC and holds positions in other organizations such as the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #69 and the International Association of Executive Protection Agents. With a background in law enforcement education, Mayor Hardy continues to make significant contributions to their community.
