Alvin Cheung has extensive work experience in financial planning and analysis, as well as strategic planning. Alvin served as the Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning at the State Compensation Insurance Fund, where they provided executive leadership and direction for the company's overall strategies and planning. Prior to that, they were Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at the same company, where they led the development and management of the enterprise strategic plan. Before joining State Compensation Insurance Fund, they held various roles at AAA NCNU Insurance Exchange, including Director of Financial Planning & Performance Management, Manager of Forecasting & Budgeting, and Manager of Budget System & Architecture. In these roles, they led the development of financial plans, forecasts, budgets, and cost allocation methodologies while also managing and enhancing budgeting capabilities.
Alvin Cheung completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley in the years 1991 to 1995. Alvin then pursued an MBA with a focus on General Management and Information Systems from the San Francisco State University, Lam Family College of Business from 1999 to 2002.
