Gema Ortega is a dedicated professional who has extensive experience in counseling, education, and program coordination within the academic field. With a background in Social Work and Counseling, Gema has held various roles including Lead Counselor, Adjunct Instructor, Enseñamos en el Valle Central Counselor, Adjunct Counselor/Coordinator, and Upward Bound Assistant Director. Within these roles, Gema has provided essential support and guidance to students, coordinated programs, and overseen educational initiatives to help students succeed. Additionally, as President of the Latino Faculty Staff Association at Reedley College, Gema has demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to student success.
