Valensiya Tvedt currently serves as the HR Director for Compensation & Global Tax at Starwood Capital Group since July 2021. Previously, Valensiya held roles at Deloitte as a Tax Manager and Tax Senior in Global Employer Services from November 2016 to July 2021, and at KPMG US as a Tax Senior Associate and Tax Associate from October 2013 to October 2016. Early career experiences include positions as an Accounts Payable Specialist at Gantrade Corporation and various roles at Ramapo College of New Jersey, including Research Assistant and Help Desk Assistant. Valensiya's internship experiences include accounting and finance roles at The Beacon Media Group and Stryker. Valensiya holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Law from Ramapo College of New Jersey, completed in 2012.
