Itoro Uwemakpan is an experienced professional in the fields of business partnerships, user acquisition, and brand development. Currently serving in the Accelerator Program for the Africa Fund at Startup Wise Guys since February 2023, Itoro also held the position of Consulting Lead for User Acquisition and Growth at ByteDance from February 2023 to September 2023. Prior experience includes significant roles at Transsion, where Itoro was the Lead for Business Partnerships and Expansion, as well as Strategy and Partnerships from January 2019 to August 2023. Additionally, Itoro contributed to Alpha & Jam Nigeria between June 2014 and August 2018 as Lead for Product and Brand Development, with responsibilities in Strategic Brand Communications and Content Strategy. Itoro holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mass Communication with a PR Major from Covenant University.
