Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer and firmware engineer with a significant background in developing collaborative solutions at SMART Technologies since July 2010. Notably involved in the design and development of hardware and firmware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices, Chris has also contributed to the Science Alberta Foundation as an electronics contractor, focusing on electronics design and repair for educational devices. Prior experience includes work as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, where circuit design and control systems development were key responsibilities, and as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
