Olli Jarva is a Senior Software Engineer at Starship Technologies since February 2021, with extensive experience in software development and engineering roles across various organizations. Prior to this, Olli served as a Staff Software Engineer at Aiven, focusing on building scalable managed database services utilizing technologies such as PostgreSQL and Kafka. Olli held the position of Technical Lead at Solinor Oy, designing and developing core business systems, and prior to that spent over eight years at Futurice in multiple roles including Senior Software Engineer and Senior IT Specialist. Additional experience includes positions at OUBS, Helsinki University of Technology, Javerdel Oy, Nokia Oyj, and Päivölän Kansanopisto. Olli Jarva holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Aalto University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
