David Edwards is an experienced copy editor and freelance writer with a diverse background in journalism. Currently serving as a copy editor at Stars and Stripes since July 2021, Edwards has also contributed as a freelance writer for Russian Life since July 2015. Previous roles include copy editing at the Las Vegas Review-Journal, where employment spanned from September 2016 to January 2021, and assistant city editor at Yakima Herald-Republic. Edwards has held various positions in the industry, including associate editor at The Moscow Times, staff writer at Freedom Communications Inc., and copy editor at several publications including The Gazette and The Daily Press. Edwards holds a M.A. in International Relations from Salve Regina University and a B.A. in Journalism from Whitworth University.
