Trey Cook

President and Chief Executive Officer at STARLIMS

Trey Cook has extensive experience in executive leadership roles within the healthcare and technology industries. Trey is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer at STARLIMS since August 2021. Prior to that, they served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Quantros from April 2018 to March 2021.

From 2015 to 2018, Cook worked at Hill-Rom, where they held the position of Vice President and General Manager - Nurse Call and Clinical Communication. In this role, they were responsible for leading a $150M global healthcare technology business that developed mission-critical clinical communication systems for acute care hospitals.

Before Hill-Rom, Cook was the Vice President of Services at Hill-Rom's Clinical Workflow Solutions division from June 2011 to January 2015. In this role, they oversaw the customer service and support organization, which included project management, implementation, training, field service, and a technical call center.

Prior to their time at Hill-Rom, Cook worked at McKesson Health IT from 2007 to 2011. Trey held the positions of Vice President of Sales Operations - Physician Office EMR and Executive Director of Sales - Physician Office EMR. In these roles, they were responsible for the commercial operations of a $100MM software organization, leading operational teams and delivering innovative solutions to support sales growth.

Cook's career began at GE Healthcare IT in 2000, where they held various roles, including National Channel Manager - Physician Office EMR and Area Sales Manager - Appliances. Trey also participated in the Experienced Commercial Leadership Program, a two-year executive management program that focused on strategic marketing initiatives.

Trey Cook obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Science Business from the University of Notre Dame, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
