Melissa Volet is a seasoned corporate attorney and shareholder at Stark & Stark, where representation of community associations has been a primary focus since 2005. Prior to this role, Melissa served as a matrimonial attorney at Lomurro Davison Eastman & Munoz PA from 2002 to 2005, advocating for clients in various family law matters such as divorce and child custody. Early in the legal career, Melissa gained valuable experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable Denis R. Hurley at the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York, providing legal support and drafting opinions. Additional foundational experiences include work as a legal extern for the Domestic Violence Project at Nassau Suffolk Law Services and as a legal intern at the Queens County District Attorney's Office, focusing on narcotics-related prosecutions. Melissa Volet holds a Juris Doctor from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hofstra University.
