Roy Dorleijn is an experienced Barge Broker at Starfuels, where responsibilities include founding the Barging Department and negotiating optimal conditions for barge procurement since March 2017. Prior to this role, Roy worked at Eastport Group in ship operations and barge brokering from March 2014 to February 2017, managing daily communications and logistics for Deepsea vessels. Previous positions include Bunker Purchaser at Flinter, where bunker arrangements for multiple dry cargo vessels were coordinated, and a trainee experience at Stolt Nielsen and Wilhelmsen Maritime Services focusing on shipping and logistics operations. Roy holds degrees in Logistics and Transport Management from Hogeschool Rotterdam and Manager Haven Logistiek from Scheepvaart en Transport College Rotterdam.
