Dana Trousil is a Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer at StarFish Medical since December 2010, focusing on product development for the medical device industry. Responsibilities include managing projects, performing DFMA analysis, and developing quality plans. Dana's experience includes launching a medical imaging cart in six months and contributing to several medical device teams. Prior roles include Mechanical Designer positions at Carmanah Technologies and Coe Newnes McGehee, where Dana designed solar-powered street lights and sawmill equipment, respectively. Earlier experience at Teleflex Canada Ltd. involved leading engineering support teams and designing hydraulic steering systems. Dana holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering and a BSc in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Victoria, along with an MSAT in Management and Leadership Skills from Simon Fraser University.
