Joseph Richards currently serves as the Deputy General Manager at Starboard Hotels since October 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Café Supervisor, Production Chef, and Grill Chef at Fresha Catering from September 2021 to September 2022, as well as General Manager at The Salty in Teignmouth from May 2020 until its closure in April 2021 due to Covid-19. Earlier positions involve Assistant Manager at ROUTE RESTAURANTS LIMITED and General Manager at The Elizabethan Inn. Joseph also held Assistant/Duty Manager and Assistant Store Manager positions at Bickley Mill Inn and Red Rooster, respectively. Joseph began a career in hospitality as a Food & Beverage Night Porter at Action for Blind People from 2004 to 2008. Education includes ongoing studies at the Chartered Management Institute and qualifications from City & Guilds in Vocational Education and Apprenticeships.
