Asad Sayyed, PMP, is an experienced professional in fiber operations and telecommunications engineering, currently serving as the Head of Fiber Operations at StarTech Networks Inc. since March 2024. Prior experience includes roles as General Manager at Draftech International and Manager of Fiber Engineering and OSP Fiber Project Lead for AT&T at Amdocs. Asad also held positions as AT&T Fiber Vendor Manager at draftPros and Sr. OSP Design Engineer/SME at Pearce Services, specializing in engineering and designing fiber infrastructure. With additional experience as an OSP Fiber Design Specialist at Black & Veatch and FTTx Network Planning and Design Engineer at Jio, Asad has developed strong expertise in fiber route planning and design. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Mumbai and a Diploma in Engineering from M.H. Saboo Siddik Polytechnic.
