Ir Alan MAK has extensive experience in the field of antenna engineering and project management, serving as Manager at STAR Systems International since October 2017. Previously, Ir Alan held roles as Project Manager at both the LSCM R&D Centre and ASTRI, where responsibilities included leading projects, liaising with diverse stakeholders, and conducting R&D in antenna technologies. Ir Alan's early career includes positions as a Senior Engineer and Member of Professional Staff at ASTRI, contributing to various antenna designs and generating intellectual property. Additional experience includes teaching positions at City University of Hong Kong and significant research work in antenna technology. Ir Alan holds a PhD in Radio Frequency Antenna Design and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with First Class honors, both from City University of Hong Kong.
