Clinton Amos has extensive work experience in the energy industry, particularly in tax and financial roles. Clinton began their career at Stanwell Corporation Limited in 2005, where they served as a Senior Tax Accountant/Financial Accountant until 2010. Amos then moved on to Tarong Energy, where they worked as a Tax Manager from 2010 to 2011. Clinton returned to Stanwell Corporation Limited in 2011 and held various positions, including Tax Manager, Technical Accounting and Tax Manager, Tax & Treasury Manager, General Manager Financial Services (Secondment), and General Manager - Tax, Treasury & Energy Settlements. Their most recent position at Stanwell Corporation Limited began in September 2015.

Clinton Amos has a diverse education history. In 2001, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with a Dual Major from Griffith University. Following this, they completed a Graduate Diploma (ICAA) from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in 2007.
