Arlen Olsen is an experienced professional in the fields of mining, minerals, and geotechnical engineering. Currently serving as Operations Support Manager at Stantec since March 2014, Arlen has also held roles as Project Manager and Site Supervisor, focusing on team supervision, safety leadership, and technical mentorship for a diverse group of approximately thirty technicians, technologists, and junior engineers. Prior experience includes working as a Geotechnical Technician at Norwest Corporation, where responsibilities involved quality control for engineered earth structures and managing radiation safety programs. Arlen began a career in conventional oil and gas with Silver Blaze Energy, developing skills in drilling, completions, and production operations. Arlen holds a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science from the University of Calgary and a degree in Business Administration from Mount Royal University.
