Alex Haptemariam, P.E., CFM, currently serves as a Senior Technical Project Manager for the City of Alexandria, Virginia, since January 2024. Previously, Alex has held multiple positions at Stantec Consulting Services Inc. since October 2007, including Senior Associate and Senior Project Manager. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering with a focus on Civil Water Resource Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, earned from 1993 to 1999.
