Frits Ploeg is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic advisory, business development, and mergers and acquisitions within the tank storage and logistics sectors. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at Stanlow Terminals since May 2021, Frits previously held roles such as Business Development/Mergers & Acquisitions at ENOC, and Director of Business Development at OTTCO Oman, where greenfield projects in Oman were developed. Frits also served as Business President Europe at LBC Tank Terminals, overseeing business development across multiple countries, and was a Partner and co-owner at Downstream B.V., specializing in tank storage consulting. Frits commenced a 19-year career at Vopak, advancing through various management and business development roles. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management and certificates in economics, politics, and trading from IMD and the University of Oxford, respectively, alongside a Bachelor of Law from Utrecht University.
