Isobel Porteous is an accomplished aerospace engineer and entrepreneur currently serving as a Mayfield Fellow at the Stanford Engineering Entrepreneurship Center and as a CISAC Honors Student at the Stanford Center for International Security and Cooperation. Porteous holds leadership roles in the Stanford Student Space Initiative, overseeing the development of CubeSats, and previously contributed to business development at Scout Space, focusing on space security. Experience as a researcher and co-author at The Hoover Institution involved investigating emerging technologies in the space sector. Prior internships at Rhombus Power, Booz Allen Hamilton, Virgin Orbit, Spire, and Learning Share further demonstrate a strong foundation in aerospace engineering and leadership in technology-driven initiatives. Porteous earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Stanford University, following education at The Chapin School.
