Larissa Young has a diverse background in roles related to transportation, eligibility services, and health within various organizations. Currently serving as the Acting Tribal Transportation Director and GIS/NEPA Coordinator for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe since June 2023, Larissa has also held positions such as Eligibility Specialist at Tehama County Social Services and Patient Services Operator for the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians. Previous experience includes a role as a Community Health Representative at Feather River Tribal Health Clinic and Health Safety Environment at Graphic Packaging International, LLC. Larissa's extensive history with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe includes multiple positions focused on GIS and environmental coordination. Educational qualifications consist of two Associate of Science degrees in Natural Resources Management and Environmental Science from Sitting Bull College, completed between 2008 and 2014.
