Andrew Planitz is a Repair Development Engineer at StandardAero since June 2022, following experiences as a Quality Intern and Technical Intern at GE Aviation in 2021 and 2020, respectively. In the Quality Intern role, Andrew oversaw quality productions of ceramic matrix composite tape and related materials. As a Technical Intern, Andrew developed skills in engine design, lean methodologies, six sigma, and supply chain management, contributing to the creation of a competitive wide body aircraft engine. Andrew holds a degree in Materials Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University, completed in 2022, and a high school diploma from Lakeview High School, earned in 2018.
