Lauren Canfield is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in actuarial science and risk management, currently serving as Vice President Corporate Actuary and Chief Risk Officer at The Standard since June 2006. In this role, Lauren oversees enterprise risk management, asset liability management, and the integrity of actuarial financial statements. Previous positions at The Standard included leadership in actuarial transformation, focusing on process and technology improvements, and significant contributions to hedging strategies and economic capital frameworks. Additionally, Lauren has been a member of the Board of Directors at Portland Piano International since July 2017. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics, Music, and French from the University of Portland, completed in 2006.
