Doug Beardslee, AIF®, CPFA®, currently serves as the Regional Vice President at The Standard since January 2023. Prior to this role, Doug held the position of Regional Vice President - Retirement Plans at Securian Financial Group from April 2016 to January 2023, where Doug was also a Registered Representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc. Doug's extensive experience in sales and financial advisory roles includes serving as Regional Sales Director at OneAmerica from May 2006 to March 2016, responsible for multiple states, and Vice President/Financial Advisor at U.S. Bank from April 2004 to May 2006, managing branch office financial services. Doug's career began as Regional Sales Director at Ohio National Financial Services from January 2002 to April 2004, focusing on annuity sales in the Midwest, and earlier as Senior Retirement Plan Consultant at American Century Investments from 1991 to 2001. Doug earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Baker University, where education was completed from 1987 to 1991, and attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High School from 1985 to 1987.
