Allen Oakley serves as the Plant Manager at Standard Textile since March 2020, where a significant achievement includes the startup of a new terry towel plant in Bristol, Virginia, in collaboration with American Merchant, Inc. Prior to this, Allen held the position of General Manager at American Merchant, Inc. from April 2018 to March 2020 and served as Sales Manager and Sales Representative at Graff Metallic of America, LLC between February 2016 and March 2018. Previous experience includes Vice President of Operations at JS Fiber Co., Inc. and President of Connect Inc., an entrepreneurial telecom startup. In earlier roles at Pillowtex Corporation and Pillowtex, Allen demonstrated strong leadership as Executive Vice President, overseeing a $1 billion operation, and contributed to corporate strategies and lean manufacturing improvements. Allen Oakley also holds degrees in Textile Technology from North Carolina State University and a YEI Certificate in Business Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
