Brad Timmons currently serves as the Director of Public Safety and Chief of Police at Baylor Scott & White Health, a position held since January 2024. In addition, Timmons works as a Field Auditor for Standard Safety and Supply since March 2023. Previously, Timmons held the role of Fire/Crime Prevention Officer at Baylor Scott & White Health from November 2022 to March 2023, and from April 2012 to December 2022, served as the Director of Safety and Emergency Management at Medical Center Health System. Timmons has significant experience in law enforcement leadership, having been the Chief of Police at Medical Center Health System from January 2007 to December 2022, where responsibilities included designing and implementing department budgets and supervising a team of over 24 officers. Timmons began a law enforcement career as an Investigator with the Ector County Sheriff's Office and later served as a Detective with the Odessa Police Department. Timmons holds a Basic Peace Officer certification from the Permian Basin Law Enforcement Academy and has pursued continuing education in law enforcement at Odessa College.
