Robert Petito currently serves as Corporate Counsel for M&A at Standard Industries, a position held since January 2023. Prior experience includes an associate role at Gunderson Dettmer from January 2022 to January 2023, and as an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP from September 2017 to January 2022. Robert's tenure in the legal field began with a summer associate position at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in 2016 and included a legal internship at the U.S. Department of Justice's Executive Office of the United States Trustee Program in 2015. Earlier roles also comprise work as a paralegal at Shaub, Ahmuty, Citrin & Spratt, an organizing intern for New Yorkers for Bill de Blasio, and editorial positions at The National Memo and Helvidius Group. Robert holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Columbia University.
