Balamurugan Jegatheesan is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in digital channels, data analytics, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. Currently serving as Head Architect for Digital Channels and Data Analytics at Standard Chartered Bank since November 2017, Balamurugan has also held various significant roles within the bank, including Head Architect for Cloud, Cyber Security and Data Architecture, and Chief Architect for Consumer, Private Banking, and Wealth Management. Prior experience includes serving as Group Enterprise Architect Lead at OCBC Bank and CTO for the APAC region at FedEx Express. Balamurugan has also worked at TCS, Verizon Data Services, Oracle, and Fornax Systems in various technical and leadership capacities. Balamurugan holds a Master of Computer Applications from Bharathiar University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from VHNSN College, affiliated with Madurai Kamaraj University.
