Sherif Olayiwola, MBA, currently serves as Team Lead of Credit Risk Management at Standard Bank Group, a position held since September 2014, where key achievements include providing financial advisory services for effective management of impairment numbers and maintaining the NPL threshold within an approved budget of $170 million. Previously, as a Credit Risk Specialist, notable contributions involved resolving loan-related issues and ensuring compliance with internal audits for SME and commercial banking facilities. Olayiwola began a career in credit risk at Workforce Management Centre Ltd as a Credit Risk Officer, focusing on credit facility management and customer complaint resolution. Academically, Olayiwola holds an MBA in Finance from Obafemi Awolowo University and a Bachelor's degree in Plant Sciences from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
