Kenneth Young is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in loan distribution and syndication. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Standard Bank Group since September 2017, Kenneth specializes in syndicated and bilateral loans, credit insurance, and structured credit solutions within the Sub-Saharan African market. Prior experience includes a Vice President role at Deutsche Bank, where responsibility encompassed underwriting large structured loans across EMEA and managing underwriting risk. Kenneth's career also features a significant tenure at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where over £15 billion in loans were sold in EMEA, marked by expertise in public/private deal considerations and secondary loan market strategies. Kenneth holds a Master of Arts with honors in Economics from The University of Edinburgh.
