Burger Pretorius is an accomplished business consultant and coach with extensive experience in Agile methodologies and human resources transformation. Currently self-employed since August 2019, Burger also serves as Lead Coach for the New Ways of Work (NWOW) initiative at Standard Bank South Africa, where responsibilities include embedding Agile principles and leading teams to enhance banking systems. As Head of the People Transformation Programme, Burger develops strategies to adapt to a complex banking landscape and challenges traditional human capital practices. Previous roles include Managing Director at Barrier Angelucci, Chief Operating Officer at Joint Prosperity, and various leadership positions within Standard Bank, where responsibilities spanned human resources strategy and global deployment. Burger holds a B Comm degree and has completed numerous advanced training programs in Agile methodologies.
