Bryan Waters has over 17 years of work experience in various security and leadership roles. Bryan is currently working as a Senior Director of Infrastructure Operations at Stand Together since October 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Security for Stand Together from July 2018 to October 2021. In this role, they managed the security program for a large group of non-profit organizations, overseeing corporate, physical, and information analysis for over 150 offices and 1000 employees. Bryan also led a team of 5 security managers and developed an integrated organizational security capability.
Before joining Stand Together, Bryan worked at Koch Industries as a Security Technology Program Manager from July 2016 to July 2018. Bryan also worked as a Regional Security Administrator at GTI Federal from April 2014 to July 2016. In addition, Bryan served as a Security Specialist at Professional Solutions from November 2010 to April 2014. During this time, they operated and maintained the access control and personnel security aspects of a major Department of Homeland Security site, and was responsible for interacting and verifying personnel's access levels. Bryan also assisted in installing and maintaining HSPD-12 compliant security hardware in government buildings in the DC-Metro area.
Bryan has a solid background in security and leadership, as evidenced by their roles in the US Army, where they served as a Corporal from September 2003 to September 2011, and as a Security Officer at Pinkerton Government Services from May 2010 to November 2010. Prior to their career in security, Bryan worked as a Biometric Enrollment Technician from November 2008 to May 2010, and as a Collections Agent from June 2005 to June 2006. Bryan started their career as a Head Supervisor at R/C THEATRES from January 2001 to January 2005.
Bryan Waters completed their high school education at Frederick High School from 2000 to 2004, earning a General Education Diploma. During their time in high school, they also obtained a Military Police certification from the United States Army Military Police School in 2003. Bryan has an additional certification as a Lenel Master Certified from Lenel Systems International, although it is unclear when they obtained this certification.
