Nate Mandel

Nate Mandel has a diverse range of work experience. In 2010, they worked as an Administrative Coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania. From 2012 to 2014, they served as an Account Coordinator at Sandy Goldshein Associates, Inc. In the same year, they briefly worked as a Live Game Logger at Major League Baseball.

In 2014, Nate joined the Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO), where they held various roles until 2021. Nate started as an Outreach Specialist and then transitioned to become a Program Innovation Analyst. In 2018, they were promoted to Sr. Program Innovation Analyst, and in 2019, they became the National Manager of Program Innovation. In this managerial position, Nate led the design and execution of innovative projects, collaborated with executive leadership and other departments, implemented new tools and strategies for programmatic learning, and created CEO's first online digital learning platform.

In 2017, Nate began working with Listen4Good as a Feedback Coach, where they advised nonprofit organizations on client surveys and aimed to create more equitable and impactful programs. Nate also served as a Consultant for the Fund for Shared Insight, providing guidance to nonprofit organizations participating in the Listen4Good initiative and contributing to the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) committee.

Most recently, in 2022, Nate Mandel joined the Stand Together Foundation as the Director of Customer Measurement.

Nate Mandel completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at Vassar College from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Hempfield High School from 2002 to 2006. In terms of additional certifications, Nate obtained the following: Facilitative Leadership for Social Change from the Interaction Institute for Social Change in December 2019, Managerial Training from Plucky in April 2019, Proficiency in Motivational Interviewing (MI) from The IFIOC (Institute for Individual and Organizational Change) in January 2019, and Storytelling for Change from Acumen in June 2017. Nate also has certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBI-EMP) and Mental Health First Aid, though the institutions and exact dates of these certifications are not provided.
