Simon Tavernier, CLMPâ„¢ has diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Simon started their career as a Researcher at UGent/Labo Soete at Ghent University, conducting tribological research on large-scale offshore bearing materials. During this time, they also developed setups for industrial fatigue and wear testing. In 2009, Simon joined DHBW/Capsugel as a Senior Project Engineer in R&D, where they worked on projects related to machine development, process optimization, and statistical analysis. Their expertise in Six Sigma also contributed to a joint project with Boehringer Ingelheim. In 2016, Simon founded Stampix dpm, a company focused on turning digital photos into tangible memories through brand partnerships and photo rewards. Stampix has successfully transformed over 10 million photos into valuable and joyful experiences. Most recently, Simon joined The Bonus Awards as a Partner, further expanding their knowledge and skills in the field.
Simon Tavernier, CLMP™, holds a Master's degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Universiteit Gent, which they pursued from 2002 to 2007. In 2006 and 2007, they also pursued a Minor/Erasmus program in Aeronautical Engineering at Universidad Politénica de Madrid. In 2015 and 2016, Simon pursued a Postgraduate program in Integrated Product Development at KU Leuven. In terms of additional certifications, Simon obtained the Certified Loyalty Marketing Professional (CLMP) certification from The Loyalty Academy in March 2023.
