Additionally, experience as an Adjunct Professor at New York University's Steinhardt School of Education and Deputy Director at Chess in the Schools highlights expertise in both administration and education. Mulrooney also has experience in marketing communications from the Delaware Art Museum and holds a degree from the University of Delaware, with further studies at Harvard Business School.
