Edward Browne, MBA has extensive work experience in the field of emergency medical services. Edward began their career as a Paramedic at Empress Ambulance Svc in 1989 and worked there until 1992. In 1992, they joined Stamford Emergency Medical Services, Inc. where they held various roles throughout their tenure. Edward started as a Paramedic and worked in this capacity until 1997 when they transitioned to the role of Operations Manager. In 2002, they were promoted to Assistant Chief / COO, and most recently, they served as the Chief / CEO, a position they held from 2022 until present. During their time at Stamford EMS, Edward successfully managed all aspects of the organization, including HR, IT, policy development, and compliance. Edward also served as the primary liaison during emergencies with other public safety agencies and officials. Under their leadership, the organization achieved international industry accreditation in 2007.
Edward Browne, MBA has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management from Iona University. Edward also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Community and Human Services - Emergency Management from Empire State University. Additionally, they have an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree and a Certificate in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) from SUNY Westchester Community College. Edward Browne graduated from Monsignor Scanlan High School in 1988. Edward also has a certification as a Paramedic from the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
